MAKE-UP ARTIST

Tracy is a professional freelance make-up artist serving in the motion picture industry. Tracy’s continuous commitment and involvement in this trade has not only allowed her to work alongside some of the industry’s most influential but has even received an offer to be flown to Calgary, Alberta for a Bollywood film thriller starring India’s most prominent icons Akshay Kumar, Javed Jaffrey and the award-winning Sharmila Tagore. Tracy’s exuberant nature and passion for gore have also helped her attain the position of Key Make-Up Artist on numerous other films, music videos and printwork. Her client list includes the likes of Chad Kroeger, Gibson Guitars, John Savage (The Deer Hunter), Lance Henriksen (The Terminator & Alien), Ewen Bremner (“Spud” of Trainspotting), Default, Wide Mouth Mason, Canadian Idol’s Jaydee Bixby and Grammy award-winners 54-40.

Tracy specializes in, but does not limit herself to, make-up effects for film. Some of her credits include 2012, 30 Days of Night 2: Dark Days, Smallville, Stargate Atlantis, Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects (EA Games), Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, as well as a successful sting operation for the Vancouver Police Department. Her work has also appeared in varied issues of Fangoria - America’s Horror Magazine.

When not occupied with a project, Tracy is also an instructor at John Casablancas Institute of Applied Arts. She is proud to be a contribution to the make-up course at JCI, where her aim is to encourage students to explore their creativity with a refined quality and acquire the skills and attitude needed for a successful venture after their graduation from the Make-Up Artistry Diploma Program.
